They FINALLY Won

It was high drama, coming down to the last minute of play when the University of Toronto's Varsity Blues kicked a field goal to win the game 18-17 over the Waterloo Warriors to break a 49 game losing streak. You read that correctly, prior to September 1st's game, the Blues were 0 and 49.

While this is a long losing streak, it is not the worst losing streak of all time. According to Wikipedia the longest losing streak is held by the NCAA Basketball team from the California Institute of Technology who lost a record 207 games in a row between 1996 and January 2007.

Hats off to the Blues for ending their losing skid.
